This is our public campaign to stop the cuts to public services.
Thank you for your interest in talking to your friends and using social media about the McNeil government’s cuts to jobs and public services.
We have undertaken a public campaign to raise awareness about the McNeil government’s cuts to programs and services and are asking the public to email the Premier and their MLA as well. The public are being directed to our main NSGEU site.
We have bought ad space on billboards, print (newspapers across the province), and radio to carry our message.
Here is what the billboard ad looks like:
We have also created a handout for you to distribute to the public. It can provide a good conversation starter. Your local president will have some of these cards but if you do not know who your local president is, or would like to order some for your own work site please contact us: 902-424-4063 or toll-free at 1-877-556-7438 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Social media is a great way to get the message out.
This Liberal government’s plans to cut to jobs, programs, and services will hurt Nova Scotians and make things worse.
The NSGEU has a Facebook page which is a good place to post stories about the important work you do each day as a public sector worker to make a difference. Tell people about what you do and why it matters.
You can also change your Facebook profile picture in support of public services. We have included an image below:
